Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 27, 2026
Don Tuco is an AI booking assistant that answers WhatsApp messages for tour operators. Our first operator is Finca Montezuma, a cacao farm in Dolphin Bay, Bocas del Toro, Panama. Don Tuco is run by Divina Endeavors LLC (Hero Apps, “we”). This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
In short
We only use your details to answer you and handle your booking. We do not sell them, share them for advertising, or send marketing email.
1. What we collect
- Your WhatsApp messages to an operator's Don Tuco number, with your WhatsApp number and profile name. We use them to answer questions about tours, availability, prices and directions.
- Booking details you give when you book: your name, the tour, date, time and group size. Your email address only if you choose to give it for a confirmation.
- Operator waitlist sign-ups on this website: the email address and details you type into the form.
2. Who sees it
- The tour operator you contacted. They get each booking, and the conversation when Don Tuco hands you over to a person.
- The AI. Don Tuco is an AI assistant built on Amazon Bedrock. He tells you so if you ask. Your messages are processed to write his replies and are not used to train models.
3. Email
We send email through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), and only in two cases: a booking confirmation to a guest who asked for one (tour, date, time, number of guests and total price, paid at the farm), and a notice to the operator about a new booking or a guest who needs a person. We never send newsletters or marketing.
If an address bounces or a recipient marks a message as spam, Amazon SES adds it to our account suppression list automatically and we stop sending to it.
4. How long we keep it
- Conversations: deleted automatically 24 hours after the last message.
- Bookings: kept for the operator's records until you or the operator ask us to delete them.
- Waitlist sign-ups: kept until you ask us to remove them.
5. Where it is processed
- Amazon Web Services (United States): WhatsApp delivery through AWS End User Messaging Social, AWS Lambda, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon SES.
- Meta (WhatsApp) carries the messages between you and the business number. Messages to a business account are handled by Meta and AWS on our behalf, under WhatsApp's business terms.
- Vercel hosts this website. Google Firebase stores waitlist sign-ups.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days. If you do not want Don Tuco to answer you, just stop messaging the number; we only write to guests who have written to us.
